A native New Yorker since 1989, Miki Katagiri has over 16 years of designing and making topical hats. Her subject matter focuses on environment, nature, politics, and the universe. All connected to one…

Her work has been shown in galleries in New York and Japan.

After many years of working with renowned artist Patricia Underwood, she is now teaching millinery class at Parsons The New School for Design, doing workshop in her studio in Williamsburg, and taking custom orders.
